Harvest season in Bangladesh means one big problem: not enough labor, and rising daily wages. If you are tired of waiting for workers while your paddy field gets overripe, the SONALI Self-Propelled Reaper SPL 40120A is worth a serious look.
This reaper runs on a 4-stroke, 212cc petrol engine (model 170F/P-3) that delivers up to 4.3 kW or 7 HP. That is enough power for tough field conditions. The recoil starter keeps things simple, so you don’t need any complicated setup. The 3.6-liter fuel tank means fewer refueling breaks, and the 0.6-liter engine oil capacity makes routine maintenance easy.
The cutting width is 120 cm, and the cutting height is 50 mm, so it cuts close to the ground and wastes less crop. Productivity is around 0.2 to 0.5 hectare per hour. In real terms, a task that takes a team of workers a full day can be finished in just a few hours.
Because it is self-propelled, the machine moves forward on its own. You only need to guide it, which reduces your physical effort a lot. At 180 kg net weight, it stays stable in the field, though you should plan proper transport to carry it.
The SONALI SPL 40120A is a smart investment if you want to save time, cut labor cost, and finish harvest before the weather turns. Strong engine, wide cutting width, and easy operation make it a reliable choice for Bangladeshi farmers.
